Levah is a product of Northgaze Limited (“the Company”), a private limited liability company registered under the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Company is a technology company, not a bank. All banking and payment services are powered and provided by our licensed banking and payment partners.
Levah is a business management software. It is a software-as-a-service platform that helps small businesses manage their business operations, manage sales, expense and customer data. Levah provides tools and services that help businesses become more operationally efficient, sell products and receive payments seamlessly. We give users the ability to setup a custom e-commerce store for online sales and provide bank account for payment collection.
Anywhere the following words appear in these terms and conditions - “We”, “Us”, “Our” and their variations - they refer to Northgaze Limited. “You”, “Your” and their variations are used in reference to our customers who use Levah.
These terms and conditions govern the use of our platforms, either our website or mobile app. When you sign up to use our service, you agree that you are bound by these terms and conditions and other relevant policies applicable to our platforms.
We are a software-as-a-service company and we only provide software that helps businesses perform specific functions, such as:
3.1. Levah is a business-to-business (B2B) platform. You are required to sign up as a business before you can use Levah.
3.2. After you sign up on Levah, you have to update your profile to be able to access all available features in the free version. In updating your profile, you will provide more details about yourself and your business.
3.3. To complete the updating of your profile, you are also required to set up your store front, which will include your store name, your banner, colour, description, and your domain.
3.4. When you sign up on Levah, you have access to the free version of the platform. However, you can subscribe to the paid version which gives you access to a domain in your chosen name.
3.5. The free version of Levah gives you access to a limited number of orders management, inventory management, invoices, and a business bank account. You have a greater access to all the features on Levah with a paid plan.
4.1. After signing up on Levah, you are able to use Levah to manage the orders received from your customers. You can view the status of each order, the customer, the date of the order, and perform other actions relating to the order.
4.2. You are also able to use Levah to manage the expenses of your business, either such expenses are generated on Levah or offline.
4.3. You can also use Levah to manage your inventory. You can add products to the inventory, as well as collections for each product.
4.4. As a business management platform, Levah allows you to add your members of staff to your account with different permission levels.
4.5. Levah allows you to import your offline business details on the platform for the holistic management of your business.
5.1. You will only be able to access the payments feature on Levah after you have verified your business.
5.2. We will verify your business within 24 hours, subject to any downtime from our providers.
5.3. Our licensed banking and payment partners power all business accounts and payments that take place on our platform.
5.4. You can also add a bank account to your profile on Levah for the settlements on the platform.
6.1. Our platform is strictly for lawful businesses and transactions. We do not permit the usage of Levah for fraudulent or illegal activities.
6.2. We reserve the right to suspend, temporarily deactivate, or permanently disable your account where we notice usage for purposes other than as intended.
6.3. We shall not be held liable for any action of ours based on a reasonable suspicion of usage of Levah for unlawful purposes.
6.4. You warrant to indemnify us for any loss, cost, or fines we incur due to your breach of this clause.
7.1. Levah is a business management platform. We make no guarantees of customer purchases or sales, nor guarantees of business profit.
7.2. We have no principal-agent or joint venture relationship with any business. We do not control the quality of products on our platform.
7.3. We do not take responsibility for the failure of any business to provide a product or service to a customer.
7.4. We shall not be held liable for any loss of business, profit, or goodwill, except in cases of willful gross negligence.
8.1. We solely and exclusively own the rights to the intellectual property on Levah.
8.2. Your usage of our platform does not confer any right in the platform to you. You agree not to reverse engineer, reproduce, or modify the platform.
9.1. We may terminate your access to our platform without cause or for any reason, including breach of terms.
9.2. We bear no responsibility or liability for such termination.
10.1. We do not warrant that our platform shall be error-free or uninterrupted. The platform is provided “as is”.
10.2. We shall notify you of any scheduled maintenance that affects your usage.
10.3. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe.
We shall not be liable to you for any breach of these terms where such breach is occasioned by events beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability to you shall be limited to any amount we have received from you within 12 months prior to the claim.
13.1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
13.2. Parties shall make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably.
13.3. Unresolved disputes may be referred to mediation at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse.
13.4. Final resolution shall be through a sole arbitrator in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act, 2023.
